Yet another story.....

Yet another morning...Akanksha was walking to the tuition. The normally crowded streets were empty except near the three storeyed building. The ground floor of the building was commercial. The first floor was rented to a private college and the part of the floor which faced to the road was full of banners boasting about the ranks which the students had secured in various entrance examinations particularly IITJEE and EAMCET which was the state entrance exam of Andhra Pradesh. The second floor was used by the tuition masters in the morning and the evening ; the floor belongs to the same private college in the first floor. It began extending onto the third floor too due to the increase in the number of students who joined there every year. The new floor was a temporary adjustment.Walls were unplastered and asbestos sheets served as roof.

They taught high school students. It was to train them to secure a seat in the tuitions which the students would later have to get into to secure an IIT, BITS ,VIT or an EAMCET seat ; in that order please.

Akanksha was one of the few lucky ones to get into the present tuition as they would take only 300 students every year for each class starting from eight grade to tenth grade.Afterall this is where a hardcore 4 month study of her 7 th grade would lead to.She eventually did well in her 7th grade final exams too.she had to study other syllabi too.her school just taught her the state syllabi.ICSE and CBSE were extra to her now.

Her schoolmates dint go to the tuition.it was nice school.state of the art.

Every morning Akanksha would go.the classes start at 5.one hour maths.one hour physics and the last half hour of chemistry.

The decline in the interest started the first Monday after she joined the tuition. Sundays were test days. Students were supposed to be well versed in all the three syllabi of the concerned topic covered that week.

Third period , chemistry . the lady who teaches them just got done with her class. Ten more minutes to let to students go. They had to go to the school next. The tuition management wouldnt let the students leave a minute before the schedule. Value for the fee.

The teacher started reading out the answers of people who dint do it well. She wouldn't read the student names aloud though, the institute boasts of keeping up the student morale at all times !

Why is an atom neutral.? Akanksha never knew it was so..the answer she wrote : the atom doesnt respond to electricity.

it wasn as important to teach in the class, neither was it so unimportant to not ask in the weekly tests.

the students burst out laughing . only aku knew it was her answer. That morning chemistry lost its charm.....pooooof

Other subjects too couldnt hold the interest for long.

Obviously she couldnt get into the next level tuitions. Did she attempt. No

Dunno

Ignorance a bliss ?

1. You don’t know that you don’t know.

2. You know that you don’t know.

3. You know that you know.

4. You don’t know that you know.

It is blissful to not know that we don’t know. But that’s only till we are in that phase of ignorance about the fact that we seem to know everything.

I dint know that it had take me a couple of backspaces and a good 5 minute thinking before I actually began the second paragraph of this writing. I was blissfully into the fact where I thought I was a natural with writing.

Now I know that the word pungent doesn’t mean disgusting but is overpowering and strong. Uneventful doesn’t always convey negative sense but means without any events worth describing. Haemorrhages don’t mean blood clots but spilling of blood from the vessels in the body which eventually might lead to clotting. It surely bombs your I-know-all when you get to know the corrections.

I know that I now know how memory competitions are won and Guinness records in recollecting hundreds of objects, words, numbers broken. It doesn’t seem that hard ;) all you got to do is to just read my next blog. COMING SOON.

The last one is where we don’t know that we know something, anything or say everything. Feels awesome when the myth gets broken!

Any citation to this one would spoil the awesomeness tagged to it. Rainbow

Being right

I don’t remember who said it and when..but I happened to read this idea quite a few times as when in doubt whether doing something is right , just imagine what it would be like if everyone else also did it.

If you ever want to rob or kill anyone just imagine how it would be if everybody starts doing that , be it for the same reason as yours or even sillier ones.

This is what a healthy understanding of the concept is according to the citer. Earlier today i was wondering if i did a right thing choosing to study medicine. It was then i thought of the above idea. LOL..no i don’t think it’d right if everybody did take up medicine as their course..! we do need others..engineers , architects, designers, drivers , mechanics...!!

So bringing me back to my original musing of the day..my course ! well iam not sure if that is right or not..All i know..STOP OVERTHINKING..!!!

Seriously , try not giving much of unnecessary significance to our stay here on the planet..being happy go lucky sounds terrific..!!

Atleast thats going to be my call for a few more happier days.!!

Happy life ahead Gift with a bow
